Last week Tim Leifield, a longtime client of mine, passed away. I'm writing to remember and honor a wonderful man who was my first regular client... a very important figure in the start of my path as a therapist in Boulder. He was a major inspiration towards the start of my practice.
Shortly after moving to Boulder in 2005 I got a job doing chair massage at Whole Foods. On my very first day Tim was a client of mine. When the massage was over he scheduled a treatment at my office and gave me a generous tip! That's just the way he was... generous, and easy to be around. After our first session, Tim decided to start coming on a regular basis. Thus he became my first "regular" client in Boulder, inspiring me and giving me the confidence to make massage my business as well as my passion. Tim was also responsible for referring many of my current regular clients. In a way, I can trace a lot of my success and practice back to Tim. I want to acknowledge how important his influence was on my current life path.
Tim, I'm sad to see you go my friend. Thank you for supporting my passion and my practice, and for really being there at the start of a beautiful life path. I will miss you.
